Safety Considerations:  According to Tisserand & Young, Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil may inhibit blood clotting (oral use), cause drug interactions (oral use), and cause skin and mucous membrane sensitization. A very low dilution of 0.5-1% should be adhered to for topical use. Do not use in a bath.

If taken ORALLY Cinnamon Leaf may interact with pethidine, MAOIs or SSRIs, anticoagulant medication, major surgery, peptic ulcer, hemophilia & other bleeding disorders. However, Little Brown Sparrow Co. does not promote the ingestion of essential oils without the proper guidance of an expert practitioner.
