*According to Tisserand & Young, Star Anise Essential Oil can be potentially carcinogenic, based on estragole & safrole content, may inhibit blood clotting & reproductive hormone modulation. (This is referring to oral dosing)

**Star Anise Essential Oil is contraindicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding, for those with endometriosis, estrogen dependent cancers & children under 5 yrs old.

***Further cautions: Diabetes & anticoagulant medication, peptic ulcer, hemophilia, major surgery & other bleeding disorders.

****The Hot Toddy blend is an aroma blend, it is not meant to be used topically for medicinal or therapeutic uses. If used as directed (scent/inhale only), it is generally safe for 5 years and up, provided small children are not directly inhaling it in high amounts, and that there are not persons with special medical issues/needs directly inhaling it. (see cautions above)
